Brighton BnB hosts special one-off gig

Usually the only music you here in a Brighton BnB drifts out from a knackered radio in reception. And you can guarantee it’s tuned to Bland 103 FM.

Well, as the only BnB in Brighton with a real blog – rather than a ‘what’s on’ list – The Ambassador is bringing some outstanding live music to the party.

Aidy is playing a one-off gig on Saturday 9th July  at 8 p.m. – this is the man who wrote a song every week for a year! The singer/ songwriter’s first album drew an insightful review from Steve Lamacq, who described it as having a “cinematic quality that pervades the haunting weirdness”.

It’s going to be intimate, and a rare chance to catch him with his three piece – picked up a recording contract this year, so watch out.

Tickets are £free, yes free – that’s just the way he rolls -so spread the word: the best Brighton BnB is also putting on live music. Come on down!

Saturday 9th at 8 p.m.

Hotels in Brighton ready for pre-Christmas music madness!

Little fiddler plays Brighton

Little fiddler plays Brighton

Yes folks, hotels in Brighton are readying themselves for a massive surge in business thanks to this year’s pre-christmas line-up.

The list of big name acts set to play in the city’s venues is staggering – Peter Andre is also making a pre-Xmas appearance!

To finish off this month, we’ve a-ha on the 15th at the Brighton Centre (are they Finnish?); another folking great set from Seth Lakeman (17th Concord 2); jammed in on the same night as Calender Girls (Theatre Royal). We’ve mod goodfella, Paul Weller (23rd Brighton Centre) and if you’re not tempted by any of these, 80s pop-synth legends Heaven17 are here on the 30th.

Too many puns and plenty of top acts to choose from, it’s all too much like good fun! Book your hotels in Brighton early this year, because when you see who’s coming in December you’ll realise why it’s all going a little insania…
