If you are looking to book hotel rooms in Brighton for the end of this month, get ready for a treat.
You might have heard that Brighton is a gay-friendly town? Well, starting on the 21st July is Pride 2010. So be ready for perhaps the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi- and transgender) community’s biggest, boldest, and at times, brashest party of the year.
It’s Pride 2010: A chance for everyone who takes part to celebrate the freedom to express themselves, as themselves.

Whether the two will meet, who knows? Perhaps with a pint by the sea, or over a cocktail in one of the city’s swish bars.
Either way the two are back on form, so keep your ears pinned back: sweet soul and sonic delights are sure to follow.

My Pride was mostly as it should be looking after our guests, and being a mini visitor information point – best places to eat, events program – getting all to the Parade on time; wear a hat and take some sun protection lotion: then it rained on the Saturday afternoon.
Anyhow we managed to close up for an hour so the staff and the Innkeeper could see the parade which always makes me proud to live in Brighton and be part of such a diverese and open minded city by the sea, even though a lot of the floats are a bit home made: well done to those that give up loads of their time to make them!
