Everybody knows this town parties all night – but usually it’s an experience you only get on weekends in Brighton that feature either a stag or a hen, or booze-crazed summer beach benders.
Well, one night of the year this all changes. On October 29th one of the city’s most celebrated cultural events; White Night aims to keep us up long past the wee wee hours, with a programme of arts and entertainments.
Set to coincide with the end of British Summer Time, it’s a celebration of an extra hour of darkness. Strange and wonderful things happen at night – as you shall see…
A mix of indoor and outdoor events fills the witching hours. As the saying goes, there’s something for everyone – and something for everyone who’s a little weird…
And if you are arriving at the train station and just passing through on your way to your accommodation in Brighton, pop your head into the window of the BBC offices on Queen’s Road there’s an all night screening of rare archive footage.
