Family Ents Presents Hard Fi
Hard-Fi started creating their social realist indie rock anthems for our audible pleasure back in 2003 and in 2005 we saw the tracks “Cash Machine”, “Living for the Weekend” and “Hard to Beat” all get into the top 15 of the UK Singles Chart. Their debut album Stars of CCTV reached number 1 in the UK Album Chart.
Two years later their second album Once Upon a Time in the West also reached number 1 in the UK Album Chart featuring the singles “Suburban Knights”, “Can’t Get Along (Without You)” and “I Shall Overcome”. Lead singer Archer said of the album that it is “darker and more expensive.” Fast forward a couple of years and 2011 has seen the release of the singles “Good for Nothing” and “Fire in the House” from their new album Killer Sounds. “Good for Nothing” being coined Hottest Record in the World on April 28th by Radio 1’s highly regarded DJ Zane Lowe- a credible accolade indeed.

Broken Design Presents My Element EP Launch Party
MyElement are a five piece indie / powerpop band based in East and West Sussex. The band formed at the beginning of 2006 when vocalist and lead guitarist Harry Peach went into the studio to record some songs for James Borland's Music Production degree. All of the other band members were then brought in as session musicians to record various parts for the songs, however the chemistry between all the musicians was so strong that they decided to give playing as a band a go. Since these very early days, the band have had time to develop their sound and stage show to a point where they are a truly unique unsigned band. Their broad range of influences and backgrounds mean that the songs vary in style from one to another - one minute calming you with their melodic three part harmonies, the next making you want to dance around the room

Fresh from headlining last year's Green Man festival, the 4 man Explosions in the Sky are one of most talented and awe inspiring bands around on the circuit at the moment. The 4 men that make up EITS have been making instrumental post rock for more than 10 years now, and have been wowing crowds with their incredible mix of cinematic production and live shows abundant with controlled chaos. 2011's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care was praised by many as a progression in the band's already accomplished and original style, with many songs taking an even greater and more patient build up into epic distorted choruses. As one of the most popular post rock bands about, their anthems are surefire to catch your attention, and they shine even brighter at their shows.
