An old fashioned Kemp Town restaurantpatronised by local residents and equally as busy at luncheon as dinner including Saturdays when they serve late into the afternoon: even if you decide to dine with them last minute always ask us to call and book ahead - they are very obliging for Ambassador Guests. French Brassiere style: serving classical Anglo French cuisine at its best with a few modern touches in presentation only. Family owned and run the husband cooks and his wife serves with the help of charming mostly long standing staff. Ask at reception for a £15 lunch and early evening card - for Ambassador Guests - offer includes 3 course menu with choices and a glass of wine. We tend to reserve visits here for birthday treats although it is not that expensive. Location: 77, Georges Road, Kemp Town. Tel: 600992 Walking time: about 15 minutes; turn left on to St James's St and keep going straight through Kemp Town Village where the street becomes Georges Road - on the left towards the end of the road. Makes a lovely walk and past the beautiful Georgian buildings of old Kemp Town; come back along the sea front to walk off a good dinner. | |
